PREMIUM HARDWOOD

Hardwood flooring provides an ageless quality. It also lends itself to a multitude of decorating looks. Hardwood floors do not trap dust, pollen, pet dander, or other common allergens. This means they are a must for allergy sufferers as they always tend to improve your indoor air quality.

FLOATING FLOOR INSTALLATION

This refers to a method of installation, most floating floor materials share nearly the same method of installation. First, our team meticulously works the sub-floor to make the surface as level as possible. Inconsistency in the surface below will be easily revealed to the comparatively thin layer of surface flooring, making an even, level sub-floor essential to proper installation. Underlayment, a resilient layer of foam, is then applied to the sub-floor. This helps to absorb any flexing in the flooring material & helps with making it softer and quieter. Then the flooring material is interlocked edge-to-edge to form a single mat-like surface that simply rests on the underlayment.

CONCRETE FLOATING

Most sub-floors require this service. We’ll start by determining the tolerance of your sub-floor, the sub-floor must be flat within a certain tolerance in order for the new flooring to be properly installed and function correctly. Most types of flooring require a sub-floor to be level within 3/16 of an inch for every 8-10 feet.

We’ll use a taper gauge to determine which spots need attention, your floor will have little peaks and troughs throughout. For the peaks, we’ll meticulously grind it down to tolerance. For the troughs we’ll use self leveling concrete to float it up to tolerance. The end result is an entirely flat sub-floor ready to install material to optimal standards.
